A Collaborative Approach to Healing
I believe that true healing happens through genuine collaboration and openness between therapist and client. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I have extensive experience working with individuals who have histories of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events.
My approach centers on identifying the patterns and self-limiting beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. Together, we create a safe space where you can explore these patterns, understand their origins, and develop new ways of thinking and being that align with the life you want to live.
I believe therapeutic goals are reached through true collaboration — your voice, your pace, your journey. I walk alongside you every step of the way.
I work hard to take care of myself outside of the therapy space so that I can be present for clients. I do that by spending time with my adult sons, my two dogs, and a carefully crafted circle of close friends that I call family. I enjoy traveling, antiquing, and checking out any new restaurants or shops that come to the area.
My practice is a safe, affirming space for members of the LGBTQ+ community. I am proud to be an ally to progressive thinkers and welcome all individuals regardless of identity, orientation, or background.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing natural healing to occur.
Trauma-informed
Using a variety of therapy modalities, including parts work, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and exposure therapy, I am able to meet clients wherever they are.
Attachment Therapy
I frequently see individuals who struggle to form healthy attachments in their lives, leading to anxiety, depression, and difficulty maintaining relationships.
